Terms and Conditions (Effective Date:01/08/2024)

Welcome to Everest Eco-Cleaning company (EECC)! We are delighted to provide you with our cleaning services. Before proceeding, please carefully review the following terms and conditions that apply to all services provided by EECC. These terms and conditions govern your use of our services and form a legally binding agreement between you and EECC.

1. Scope of Services

1.1. Services Provided: EECC agrees to provide cleaning services as described in the service agreement or work order agreed upon with the client.

1.2. Service Limitations: We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any reason.

2. Service Agreement

2.1. Duration and Frequency: The duration and frequency of cleaning visits will be as agreed upon with the client.

2.2. Service Changes: Changes to the service schedule or scope must be agreed upon by both parties in writing.

3. Payment Terms

3.1. Rates: Our rates for cleaning services are as outlined in the service agreement or quotation provided to the client. These rates are inclusive of GST.

3.2. Invoicing: Invoices will be issued [monthly/weekly/after each service] and are payable within the same or next working day of service received.

3.3. Late Payments: A late fee of $15/day may be charged for payments not received by the due date.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1. Cancellation by Client: Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of $50.

4.2. Cancellation by EECC: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.

 

5. Auto Reminders:
5.1 We use automated email notifications to remind you of your upcoming appointments and any necessary cancellations. These reminders are sent to ensure you are aware of scheduled services and to provide relevant updates.

5.2 Automated reminders are generated by our software and may include details such as appointment time, date, and any special instructions or requirements.

6. Booking Information:
6.1 When you book an appointment, your information is recorded in our system to manage scheduling and service delivery. This may include your name, contact details, and specific service requests.

6.2 Any changes to your booking, including cancellations or rescheduling, will also be communicated through automated notifications to keep all parties informed.

7. Communication:
7.1 All communications regarding appointments, including reminders, confirmations, and cancellations, will be sent via email or other contact methods provided during booking.

7.2 We strive to ensure that all automated notifications are accurate and timely, but we recommend checking your email regularly to stay updated.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1. Liability: EECC will not be liable for damages caused by third parties, pets, or events beyond our control.

8.2. Insurance: We maintain adequate insurance coverage and will provide proof of insurance upon request.

9. Access and Security

9.1. Access to Premises: Clients agree to provide access to the premises at the scheduled cleaning times.

9.2. Security: Clients are responsible for securing valuables and items of sentimental value during cleaning visits.

 

10. Lockout Procedure

10.1. If the Company encounters a lockout situation, they will attempt to contact the Client using the contact information provided.

10.2. If unable to reach the Client and gain access within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, the Company reserves the right to consider the appointment missed and may charge a lockout fee as outlined in Section 8.

10.3. The Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the cleaning appointment at the earliest mutually convenient time, subject to availability.

11. Lockout Fees

11.1. A lockout fee may be charged if the Client fails to provide access to the premises or cancels/reschedules a cleaning appointment without sufficient notice, resulting in wasted time and resources for the Company.

11.2. The lockout fee is set at $50 and will be added to the Client’s next invoice or deducted from any prepaid cleaning services.

12. Key Policy

12.1. Keys are issued only to authorized personnel and a Key Log will be maintained for all issued keys.

12.2. Lost or stolen keys are reported immediately.

12.3. Keys are returned promptly when no longer needed or upon contract termination. Keys should be inspected upon return.

12.4. Keys are stored in a secure location and duplication of keys is prohibited without authorization.

13. Complaints and Disputes

13.1. Notification: Clients must notify us within 24 hours of service completion regarding any complaints or issues with the cleaning service provided.

13.2. Resolution: We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any complaints or disputes in a timely manner.

14. Termination

14.1. Termination by Client: Clients may terminate the cleaning services by providing 4 days’ notice in writing.

14.2. Termination by EECC: We reserve the right to terminate services for any reason within 4 days’ notice to the client.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1. Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

15.2. Entire Agreement: This document constitutes the entire agreement between EECC and the client regarding the provision of cleaning services.
